As a locally owned business, Zolman's Best One Tire & Service has been dedicated to meeting the automotive and light truck service needs of our community. We are expanding our team and looking for skilled tire and lube technicians who prioritize safety and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities:
• Tire Services: (Tasks performed following industry standards): Remove, install, rotate, balance, and repair tires for commercial and heavy-duty vehicles, both in our facility and at client locations.
• Tire Maintenance: Safely disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels, utilizing specialized tools while inspecting for any defects.
• Puncture Repair: Identify and seal tire punctures using appropriate methods.
• Rim Preparation: Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly through cleaning and surface preparation.
• Retreading: Assist in the preparation and unloading of retreaded tires, ensuring accurate handling and storage.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct inspections on vehicles, documenting any necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate hydraulic jacks and other lifting equipment.
• Shop Machinery: Competently use all shop equipment, including air tools and diagnostic machinery.
• Work Orders: Thoroughly read and execute tasks as outlined in work orders.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to frequently lift and move heavy items.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing various physical activities.
• Vision requirements include the ability to see clearly at various distances and perceive colors.
Qualifications:
• No prior experience is required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Licenses and Certifications:
• A valid driver's license is necessary, and your driving record must comply with our insurance standards.
• Completion of TIA 200 Level commercial training is required before starting (training provided).
• Ongoing training will be provided as per company standards.
