Job Summary:

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dental & Oral Surgery Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia support and care to patients undergoing dental and oral surgery procedures
  • Assist veterinarians with patient preparation, examination, and treatment
  • Administer medications and perform venipuncture as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Participate in patient care rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with other veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and best practices

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a veterinary technician in the state of practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong technical skills, including anesthesia administration and patient monitoring
