We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Control team, responsible for PLC programming and visualization. As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making industrial processes future-proof.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop function design specifications (FDS) to analyze client assignments and find optimal solutions
  • Design and implement PLC programming and visualization (HMI interfaces) according to approved FDS
  • Ensure connection and data exchange of PLCs with parent systems in collaboration with our MOM/MES department
  • Prepare and conduct internal office simulations (FAT) with clients
  • Commission and start-up projects on site to test and fine-tune work
  • Compile required documentation to meet project milestones
  • Provide aftercare support as required by the project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanics
  • Valid driver's license
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Adventurous spirit and willingness to learn new things
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of at least one automation technology (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
