Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Virtua Health. This part-time position is responsible for the treatment, care, and management of outpatients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardio-respiratory system.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform assessments of patients, develop individualized treatment plans of care, administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians, demonstrate competency in non-invasive ventilator care, teach and reinforce education on disease processes, treatments, and wellness to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
  2. Administer prescribed treatments and medications in accordance with physician orders.
  3. Demonstrate expertise in non-invasive ventilator care and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  4. Deliver high-quality patient education and support to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Registered or registry eligible as a Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
  • Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
Estimated Salary:

$62,500 - $77,000 per year.
