Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Texsan. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterization procedures, including identifying cardiac structures and coronary vasculature.
  • Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles.
  • Accurately report Ejection Fraction and ensure proper archiving of angiographic and procedural data.
  • Verify the presence of all components of procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One year of full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience or an Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
