Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking and reporting on stock levels, usage, and expiration dates.
  • Replenish supply carts and ensure that all necessary materials are available to meet the needs of our nursing units and hospital departments.
  • Assist in general storeroom functions, including receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
  • Support the development and implementation of inventory management systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment, with a focus on inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Proven ability to operate office equipment, computers, and other technology systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push wheeled carts weighing up to 800 pounds over hard surfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, as applicable.
