Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cresskill Community

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each resident receives the best possible care.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care, including medical, social, and spiritual support.
  • Document resident care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
