Synthetic Chemist Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Synthetic Chemist to join our team at Curium Live Forward.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of new products through chemical synthesis, labeling, and purification. They will work closely with the Senior Director of Upstream R&D to support the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments to develop robust drug product formulations and processes.

• Support R&D initiatives and project teams by developing and implementing robust drug product formulations and processes.
• Contribute to lifecycle management of existing products by designing, synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing drug candidates.
• Design and execute experiments to expand the development space for successful tech transfer of processes.
• Interface and collaborate with research and operation-focused functional teams, including manufacturing and quality functions.
• Prepare scientific writing, including batch records, laboratory notebooks, summary reports, and other documents in support of CMC aspects for regulatory submissions.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience required.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development or process chemistry desired.
• Radiopharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Strong familiarity with cGMP, FDA, USP, NRC, and ICH guidelines.

The Synthetic Chemist will work in a plant producing radioactive materials and will be required to participate in safety programs designed to minimize potential exposure levels. They must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hearing protection as needed. The role may require working outside regular hours, including off-shift, weekend, and holiday work as business needs require.

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
