Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings as needed to optimize image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images and reports
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or possess a foreign diploma recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered with the ARDMS (AB, OBGYN, RVT, BR, or PS) within one year of starting the position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
