Tire World Utah is seeking a proficient Heavy Equipment Tire Specialist to enhance our operations in Salt Lake City, UT.

Role Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for executing tire maintenance and repair services for a diverse range of vehicles, conducting fleet evaluations, managing scrap tire disposal, and undertaking additional related responsibilities as necessary. The primary emphasis will be on off-the-road service activities within the designated area, utilizing a company vehicle for all assignments. Flexibility is essential as emergency service tasks may arise.
  • Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance and repairs on various off-road tires, including OTR, passenger vehicles, light trucks, large trucks, tractors, and industrial machinery.

• Operate a company vehicle while complying with speed limits and traffic regulations.

• Engage in fleet evaluations as part of standard operating procedures.

• Rigorously follow safety protocols, job responsibilities, and company policies.

• Utilize a service truck to travel to client locations for essential tire repairs.

• Assist in loading and unloading inventory and participate in physical stock management tasks.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of tire pressure management systems (TPMS).

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

• Physical capability to lift and maneuver tires is crucial for this position.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.

• While prior experience with off-the-road and heavy-duty/commercial tires is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

• Candidates with OTR and heavy-duty/commercial tire experience will receive priority consideration.
