Dishroom Attendant

NHC HealthCare Bluffton is seeking a skilled Dishwasher to contribute to our team's success. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Transport and store dishes, flatware, utensils, and other kitchen items in a clean and organized manner.
• Clean and sanitize the dish machine and dish room to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Scrape, stack, wash, and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, and other kitchen items to meet our high standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
• Bus tables in the dining room and clean/sanitize tabletops to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the kitchen team.

• A sincere interest in food service and a desire to work with our senior care living population and other healthcare patients.
• Knowledge of therapeutic and modified consistency diets information to use in preparing and serving patient trays.
• Knowledge of correct sanitation and food safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• A commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of the position, being on time, and working during scheduled shifts.
• A Sanitation Course certification, as required by NHC standards and per state regulations.
• The ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
