Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Synechron. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications with a focus on performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex Java applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producing and consuming messages.
  • Proficiency in using Splunk for log management and application monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and experience in deploying Java applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
