Job Description

As a Certified Nurse Midwife with Tandym Group, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive prenatal care and support to women throughout their pregnancy journey. This includes regular check-ups, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, conducting ultrasounds, and performing necessary prenatal tests.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our growing staff. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant work experience, an Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree, and be certified as a NJS Certified Nurse Midwife. Previous experience in an OBGYN and/or Women's Health role/setting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including regular check-ups, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, conducting ultrasounds, and performing necessary prenatal tests
• Assist and support women during labor and childbirth
• Monitor the mother's recovery, assess the newborn's health, and address any postpartum concerns
• Offer routine gynecological care, including annual exams, Pap smears, screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and contraceptive counseling
• Provide education and counseling on family planning methods, birth control options, and fertility awareness
• Offer care and support to women during the menopausal transition, addressing symptoms such as hot flashes, mood changes, and hormonal fluctuations
• Provide emotional support and counseling throughout the prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum periods
• Perform other duties, as needed

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
