Transportation Aide - CNA Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Transportation Aide - CNA at Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation. The role entails safely transporting residents to and from medical facilities and other activities, as well as providing care and monitoring vital signs during transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport residents to/from medical facilities and/or other activities as needed in a safe manner.
- Provide care and assistance to residents during transport, including ambulation and transfer.
- Monitor and record resident's vital signs as needed during transport.
- Identify and report any condition requiring management or clinical attention during the transport.
Requirements:
- Current state driver's license in good standing.
- Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
- Must be at least 25 years of age due to insurance constraints.
- Must have an acceptable driving record, verified by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Must successfully complete an Employee Driver Proficiency in a timely manner.
- Ability to record information and perform technical procedures.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
