About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of this role is to safely transport food products to customers and ensure timely deliveries. This involves interacting with customers, verifying delivery accuracy, and performing necessary vehicle inspections while handling various physical demands.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
