Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the San Mateo area. This role is crucial for supporting students with speech and language challenges within the educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Diagnosing speech and language disorders and developing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with district professionals.
  • Providing direct speech-language therapy and monitoring student progress.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and effectively communicating with caregivers regarding student goals.

Position Details:
This position involves working with various student groups, including:

  1. A preschool classroom and a Special Day Class.
  2. Two Special Day Classes in an elementary school setting.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • Valid California SLP license.
