The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
- Diagnosing speech and language disorders and developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with district professionals.
- Providing direct speech-language therapy and monitoring student progress.
- Participating in IEP meetings and effectively communicating with caregivers regarding student goals.
Position Details:
This position involves working with various student groups, including:
- A preschool classroom and a Special Day Class.
- Two Special Day Classes in an elementary school setting.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Valid California SLP license.
