About the JobWe are looking for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to work as a part of our dynamic team. This position involves utilizing computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in CT scanning and be proficient in using computerized tomography equipment. They should also be able to administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Position patients correctly for scanning specific areas of their bodies
The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality and maintaining accurate patient records.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate must be able to follow safety procedures when working with radiation and understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
