About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at AnaVation. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and supporting a scalable, cloud-based repository that enables rapid data formatting, enrichment, analysis, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a cloud-based repository that supports Enterprise Search, Analytics, and various use cases.
  • Develop a system that enables quick data parsing, indexing, and securing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on data modeling, SQL, and data visualization.
Requirements
  • Experience with Apache Niagra Files (NiFi), Databricks, and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Expertise in data modeling, SQL, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Python, and.NET.
  • Experience with Agile project management software, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, and Artifactory.
  • Experience with deploying and orchestrating Docker containers in cloud environments.
  • Experience with managed services in air-gapped government environments, including AWS regions and other cloud service providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Apache TIKA and AWS SQS.
  • Experience with operating systems, including Linux distributions and Windows.
  • Experience with ongoing maintenance and optimization of databases across various platforms.
  • Experience with developing new automated Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines.
  • Experience with backend technologies, such as Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with search technologies, such as OpenSearch and Apache SOLR.
