We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Podiatry Practice at Memorial Hospital. This position provides a unique opportunity for candidates to be based full time providing patients with orthopedic services in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine practice.
- Collaborate with an exceptional team in a vibrant, growing practice.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests to determine the cause of patients' symptoms.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' orthopedic needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with two years of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience preferred.
- Active Nursing license; certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Current Physician Assistant license issued by the State of NH or eligible of licensure, NCCPA certification.
- Current BCLS.
- Minimum 3 years Orthopedic PA/NP experience preferred: Clinic, OR/first assist, and call coverage.
- Experience in general orthopedics total joint, sports medicine, and/or trauma preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take call.
