Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at NurseRecruiter, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee staff roles on the unit to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Coordinate patient placement within the unit based on acuity, skill mix, and staff availability.
  • Identify and address educational needs of the unit to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in patient care conferences to address discharge needs and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Ensure that rounds are made with physicians and stay informed of patient condition changes to make appropriate clinical decisions.
  • Verify that orders are appropriate and carried out in a timely manner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent acute care Charge Nurse Open Heart (CVOR) experience required.
  • Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification before employment start date.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitate certification within 30 days of employment start date.
