OB/GYN Physician Opportunity

Ascension St. Joseph Hospital and the Ascension St. Francis AMG clinic are seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our team in St. Francis, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians.
  • Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
  • Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
  • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
  • Provider will have responsibility supervising the OB/GYN residents at St. Joseph's Hospital and the residents in the continuity of care clinic.

Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
