Senior Tax Manager

About the Role

RightWorks Staffing is in search of a Senior Tax Manager to take on a pivotal role as a tax authority within our compliance, advisory, and annuity sector. This position emphasizes the management of trusts and estates accounting while overseeing the daily functions of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage fiduciary accounting for estates and trusts, including the preparation of state and federal income tax returns, gift tax returns, and returns for private foundations.
  • Calculate and verify commissions, along with determining unitrust and annuity distributions.
  • Oversee and prepare calculations of trustee commissions for trust terminations.
  • Compile annual accounting reports for guardianship matters.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Certified Public Accountant (or eligibility to obtain certification).
  • Significant experience in the field of trust and estate taxation.
