HonorVet Technologies is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer Specialist to support our Instrument Manufacturing activities and facilitate efficient operations within the production environment.

The successful candidate will assist in electronic design, from feasibility to manufacturing release for diagnostic equipment, providing technical skills in schematic design, analysis, debug, and PCB layout. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful design, development, testing, and implementation of product and process changes in support of quality, obsolescence, design improvement, and cost reduction improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical problems on the production floor by applying electrical engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
  • Support the non-conformity process to identify root cause of failures on parts and coordinate corrective measures.
  • Identify quality issues and manage resolutions across multiple departments, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Complete change management activities to introduce changes to the production floor, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Define, review, and check production Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, assembly instructions, and test procedures for use on the production floor, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist senior engineers in the definition, proof of concept, development, implementation, and/or support of technical or business solutions, leveraging knowledge and experience to drive project success.
  • Work collaboratively with internal department and project-specific teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Prioritize activities within the scope of assignments to ensure schedules or quality of work is successfully achieved, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the design and development of electronic systems with proven ability to design and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with project software (MS Office Suites - Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of electronic CAD systems and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated timeliness and quality of technical development activities, as well as quality and completeness of documentation.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and tasks effectively, prioritizing activities to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
