Position Summary

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. This role involves manual labor and requires various physical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of custodial duties, including mopping and wall cleaning.
  • Engage in semi-skilled and skilled tasks across different trade areas.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned in accordance with contractual obligations.
Education and Experience
  • Familiarity with building cleaning practices, tools, and materials.
  • Understanding of the safe use of various chemicals in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Knowledge of proper disposal methods for hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens.
Qualifications
