Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Furniture Artisan to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for restoring and refurnishing property furnishings to their original glory, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of furniture frames, upholstery, springs, and webbing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed, using your expertise to restore it to its original condition.
  • Select high-quality materials and fabrics for reconstruction, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, and functionality.
  • Reconstruct furniture on a case-by-case basis, taking into account design flaws and customer preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines and estimated costs.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, garment, or home decor industry.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to measure accurately.
  • Knowledge of various construction materials.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, sewing machines, and staple guns.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications.
