Job Summary:

Sycamores provides a comprehensive range of mental health services to diverse populations through various programs. Our primary focus is on delivering care to low-income, high-risk youth. As an On-Call Youth Specialist, you will provide care, supervision, and behavioral interventions that foster coping and problem-solving skills, teach social skills, and promote their transfer into the home, school, and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the program team.
  • Provide behavioral interventions, including crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
  • Supervise and support youth in residential programs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
  • Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and intermittent sitting. You will also need to operate a motor vehicle and engage in physical interventions, including restraint, as trained and per policy.
