Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with patients and families to ensure seamless care.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Communicate with Physicians: Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
- Discharge Planning: Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Professional Development: Apply the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient's age-specific needs and clinical needs.
- Compliance and Safety: Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, adhering to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.
