Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours Total)

Salary Range: $36 - $45.11 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to provide respiratory care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer respiratory care services: Include oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medications, airway clearance, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  2. Perform bedside spirometry and other respiratory procedures: As needed
  3. Collaborate with the care team: Provide personalized care to each patient
  4. Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR): In emergency situations
  5. Adhere to hospital policies: Ensure infection control, HIPAA, and other hospital policies are followed
  6. Contribute to a positive work environment: Work professionally with peers and patients
  7. Focus on quality improvement: Enhance respiratory care practices and patient outcomes
  8. Embrace professional development: Enhance your skills with opportunities for autonomy

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Respiratory Care or relevant work experience: 2 years beyond the minimum requirement
  • BLS certification: Current or obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Texas: Required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification: From the National Board for Respiratory Care
