Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to become a vital member of our Orthopaedic Trauma team, focusing on nocturnal care at HCA Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and provide intra-operative support.
- Deliver postoperative care within the hospital environment.
- Engage in preoperative evaluations and follow-up care in outpatient settings.
- Perform daily rounds, document clinical notes, and issue new orders and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with hospital staff for consultations.
- Serve as Surgical First Assistant to Orthopaedic Surgeons during elective procedures and trauma call shifts, averaging 12 shifts monthly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Orthopaedics is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and adaptability to diverse responsibilities.
- Self-driven with a commitment to independent learning and professional growth.
- Graduate from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
- Must possess or be eligible for a South Carolina medical license without restrictions on patient demographics.
