Position Summary:
This safety-sensitive role involves collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to execute essential repairs and preventive maintenance across the property. Responsibilities include maintaining residential units, public areas, outdoor spaces, and equipment.
Each community location has designated office hours that this position must adhere to in order to ensure smooth community operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance: Ensure the property is kept in a tidy, clean, and well-maintained state. Conduct daily inspections of both exterior and interior areas of the community.
- Appliance Repair: Diagnose and resolve minor issues with heating and air conditioning units, as well as address minor electrical and plumbing concerns.
- Unit Preparation: Responsible for preparing units to meet market-ready standards as per company guidelines, which may include some painting tasks.
- Laundry Facilities: Maintain laundry rooms according to company standards.
- Pool Maintenance (if applicable): Conduct daily chemical inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with city regulations and company standards.
- Customer Service: Strive to meet and exceed company standards for resident satisfaction and be available for on-call emergencies as requested by the Community Manager.
Perform additional duties as necessary.
Essential Requirements:
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely.

Position Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Pool certification preferred; HVAC and boiler certifications are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of maintenance experience in a residential setting.
- Physical & Cognitive Abilities: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds. Occasional squatting, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing required. Proficiency in the English language is essential.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, drug screening, and physical demand analysis as applicable.
