Cardiology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Cardiology experience to join our team in an ambulatory setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians, mid-level practitioners, and administrative staff to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Triages phone calls, responds to clinical communications, and updates patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Contacts patients to update medication lists, supports prescription refills, and handles insurance prior authorizations.
- Tracks and reviews outpatient test results, reviews abnormal results with supervising physician/mid-level practitioner, and informs patients of test results and clinical impact/plan.
- Completes medical and administrative forms, assists with clinical instruction, and supports administrative operations.
- Maintains and follows patient care protocols, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to problem-solve, function as a resource to other team members, and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Knowledge of computer applications necessary to function in an ambulatory setting, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software.
- Comfort in a practice environment that promotes patient-centered care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes.
- RN licensure, with EP/Cardiology experience preferred.
