Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in the development of our AI-powered applications. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain highly scalable back-end systems that integrate with cutting-edge AI models. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable Ruby on Rails applications for AI-powered products.
  • Architect back-end solutions that handle large volumes of data and support high-performance AI applications.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into production environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while following best practices and design patterns.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and ensure high-quality standards are upheld across the team.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • Proven experience with building and scaling web applications in production.
  • Strong knowledge of back-end development, database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and server-side architecture.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps tools for managing infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
