Position Summary:
The Junior Automotive Technician is responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance on various vehicles, including tractors and trailers, under the guidance of an experienced mechanic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing basic diagnostics and troubleshooting tasks.
- Performing routine maintenance such as brake pad replacements, oil changes, and battery assessments.
- Utilizing power tools and equipment to repair or replace damaged vehicle components.
- Requesting necessary parts for repairs.
- Learning from senior mechanics to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and servicing.
- Updating and managing vehicle service documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Basic mechanical tools required.
