About the Role

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our Aspire Program for girls ages 12-18. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the development and social adjustment of clients/residents through interactive processes and effective role modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized one-on-one support to clients, assisting in goal setting and offering social norm coaching to empower individuals in their journey towards better mental health.
  • Implement behavioral modification treatment programs and plans, contributing to improving the overall well-being of our clients.
  • Conduct client supervision, crisis management, and provide valuable adjunctive services.
  • Meticulously document client behaviors and proactively address behavioral concerns, updating progress notes and treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and one (1) year post high school education in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of general work experience or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • May be required to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
  • MUST HAVE a valid Driver's License.
