Job Highlights
Epic Travel Staffing is recruiting for a Travel RN - ICU 48's
Shift Details: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, EOW
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (excluding travel experience is preferred)
- Proficiency with IV medications (including vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics), hemodynamic monitoring, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, and strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting with critically ill patients.
- At least 1 prior travel assignment is required
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- TNCC certification
- Experience with Epic software is a plus
- Cardiac care experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Impella, IABP, and CRRT is strongly preferred
Additional Information:
- Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (depending on acuity)
- ICU RN may be required to float to ED
- Travelers must reside a minimum distance from any affiliated health facility
