Clear Investment Group is seeking a highly skilled Groundskeeper and Janitor to join our team at Coves at Columbus. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with rotational on-call weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of commercial properties. Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing public and back-of-house spaces
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and laundry rooms
  • Cleaning outdoor common areas, such as parking lots, sidewalks, and recreational spaces
  • Performing periodic unit cleanings as scheduled or during tenant turnover
  • Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, laying mulch, watering plants
  • Painting doors and parking lines
  • Gutter cleaning and downspout repairs
  • Power washing sidewalks and buildings
  • Repairing building signs
  • Conducting daily or weekly safety inspections of the building and grounds
  • Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
  • Shoveling snow from walkways and applying ice melt to prevent slips and falls
  • Collecting and disposing of waste from common areas
  • Trashing out empty/abandoned units
  • Calling trash companies for special pickups if applicable

Salary range: $15-$19 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, and health insurance after 60 days.
