Crisis Counselor Supervisor

About the Role:
This position involves supervising the Shelter facility and providing support and options counseling to residents in a trauma-informed manner.
Duties:
- Ensure security of building, contents, and well-being of occupants
- Conduct intakes and answer hotline as needed
- Provide support services, non-directive counseling, information, and referrals
- Participate in house meetings, staff meetings, and direct service meetings
- Work with the Shelter Director and/or Residential Coordinator in menu planning, food shopping, and inventory management
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate
- Complete PCAR/PCCD/PCADV advocate training within 90 days
- Skill in crisis intervention and decision making
- Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with staff
