Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Teradata DBA with advanced knowledge of Teradata RDBMS and the Teradata suite of tools to join our team at Navtech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database performance tuning, security, and backup and recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, model, configure, test, and install databases
• Perform and troubleshoot database backup, recovery, capacity, and security plans
• Administer, maintain, and implement changes to existing databases to meet customer requirements
• Respond to test and production database problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas

Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience as a Teradata DBA, including experience with Teradata V17.10 or higher
• Advanced working knowledge of Teradata RDBMS at both physical and logical levels
• Experience with performance tuning is mandatory
• Working knowledge of the Teradata suite of tools: Teradata Studio, TDWM, BTEQ, ARCMAIN, FASTOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, TPT, DBQL, and PDCR
• 3+ years of experience working as a Teradata DBA professionally
• Experience working in a production environment with minimal to no downtime allowed
