We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Alomere Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access department.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Registration: Gather, enter, and update demographic information, guarantor information, and insurance details using our software program.
- Checking In Patients: Review appointment notes and messages, ensure paperwork is given to patients, and address unique situations following department and provider protocol.
- Scheduling: Answer calls in a friendly and professional manner, schedule appointments, reschedule missed or cancelled appointments, and notify nurse of additions or cancellations.
- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, ability to learn new protocols, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred.
