Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SOLO Class B CDL Truck Operator for a position that offers the advantage of returning home daily. This role is based in Traverse City, MI.

Compensation Details

Expect to earn $1153 or more weekly, with additional benefits:

  • Weekly Pay Schedule
  • Average Work Hours: 41 hours per week
  • Pay per Mile: $0.49 with an average of 1193 miles weekly
  • Pay per Stop: $22.00 with approximately 30 stops weekly
  • Comprehensive Paid Training
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 4 to 5 days a week
  • Dispatch Start Time: Between 4am and 6am

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver goods locally along the West I-75 route
  • Operate a Straight Truck with a Dry Van trailer ranging from 24 to 30 feet
  • Utilize equipment such as Electric Pallet Jacks and Lift Gates
  • Handle freight that requires touch, specifically flooring and carpet cushioning

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Successful completion of a drug test and background check
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • Minimum driving experience: 9 months within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
