Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Job Summary:
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
Prepares and maintains aseptic surgical fields, ensuring the highest level of sterility and safety.
Assists surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
Maintains a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, anticipating and addressing any issues that may arise.
Participates in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements:
Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
