Job Title: HR Coordinator Specialist

TYR Tactical is seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Coordinator Specialist to drive company success in a manufacturing environment. As an integral member of our team, you will perform clerical and administrative functions, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring process for qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Assists with onboarding new hires, employee relations, new hire paperwork, and HR training.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Develops and implements organized filing systems.
  • Collects data as needed for HR dashboards.
  • Works effectively under tight time restraints and changing priorities.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a detail-oriented and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; projects confidence and builds trust easily.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open office environment.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with an understanding of when to escalate issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and use good judgment- high emotional intelligence.
  • Analytical-minded; demonstrated proficiency with HR metrics and reporting and strong MS Office skills.
  • Some employment regulatory experience and compliance knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills, great follow-through on tasks, able to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effectively handles multiple priorities and manages time efficiently.
Bilingual is a plus.
