Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering technical support to ensure the profitable production of high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical assistance for manufacturing quality issues.
  • Managing the flow of non-conforming materials throughout the facility.
  • Assisting in final product audits and testing procedures.
  • Addressing customer concerns and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions for incoming material issues.
  • Participating in a layered audit process.
  • Monitoring and analyzing waste metrics within the plant.
  • Defining preventive measures and establishing control methods.
  • Overseeing Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Supporting new product introductions and engineering modifications.
  • Performing additional duties as required to support plant operations.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of one year of quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Experience in rubber manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO9001 or similar.
