Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Millinocket Regional Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IVs, drawing blood, and conducting EKGs.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maine.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an RN in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MedHost and Pyxis systems.
  • Knowledge of SBAR communication protocol.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
