Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor II to join our team at Behavioral Health Services. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in coordinating program services and ensuring the well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program services and maintain the integrity of the program
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs
  • Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current certification in substance abuse counseling (e.g. CCAPP, CADTP) required
  • Two years of supervised experience in substance abuse and/or a related field required
  • Valid California driver's license and liability insurance required
  • Ability to sit at a desk, use a keyboard, and physically perform other job duties
