Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at New Mexico Junior College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to small business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them to develop and grow their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to assess client needs and expectations
• Offer technical assistance and support to small business owners and entrepreneurs
• Develop and implement business plans to help clients achieve their goals
• Conduct market research and provide insights to clients on market trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with other business advisors and experts to provide comprehensive support to clients
• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to help clients improve their business skills
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that clients receive the most effective support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, entrepreneurship, or a related field
• Strong understanding of business principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
