Job Summary:

Dakota County is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition-focused health services to high-risk populations, including infants, children, and adults who are pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' nutrition and health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans
  • Counsel and educate clients on healthy eating habits and nutrition
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice
  • Experience working with high-risk populations and in public health settings
