Position Overview:


The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will become a vital member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team located at our corporate headquarters.

This role leverages technical expertise, analytical prowess, and problem-solving capabilities to deliver precise, relevant, and timely financial insights for a diverse portfolio of communities and investments.

The SFA will spearhead the annual budgeting process for their designated portfolio, developing and maintaining essential templates and reports for the executive leadership team.

Additionally, the SFA will prepare facility-level reports for executive leaders, facilitating monthly financial review meetings that include discussions with the SFA, executive leaders, and operational managers.

This position also involves training administrators on the budget software tool and collaborating with facilities to address any challenges encountered during its use.

The SFA will assist budget administrators and corporate executives in effectively utilizing financial information, demonstrating expertise in decision support through analysis, compilation, and presentation of data to aid executive decision-making. The SFA will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate facility valuations, capital structures, and financial documentation.

- Analyze income statements and other financial reports to provide strategic support to operational and development teams.

- Review monthly profit and loss statements with key stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts, statistical reports, and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess current and future financial performance. Prepare return on investment evaluations for various capital initiatives. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reasonableness of financial outcomes.
- Identify trends and propose enhancements accordingly.
