About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional System Designer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an Instructional System Designer, you will play a critical role in developing training solutions that enhance Intelligence Community training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive training courses using software tools and multimedia technologies.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and product designers to capture customer training needs and advise on learning solutions.
  • Recommend cutting-edge technologies and strategies to build a successful learning environment.
  • Construct training material and performance support tools that meet the needs of learners.
  • Analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model and fine-tune training for maximum impact.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with learning theory and instructional technologies.
  • Experience with creating high-quality, interactive, and effective learning solutions.
  • Experience with facilitating or instructing materials.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating learning technologies.
  • Experience in managing compliance with SCORM, xAPI, Section 508, and learning-related technology standards.
  • Knowledge of evaluation models, including Kirkpatrick.
  • Knowledge of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to support the organization's mission.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106, annualized USD.
