Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Chemist to join our team at HirexHire. As a key member of our client's research and development team, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing new products to support the engineering and sales teams.

About the Role

  • Develop innovative adhesives formulations, focusing on UV-curable products that meet specific performance requirements.
  • Design and execute experiments, collect data, and draw conclusions to drive product development and improvement.
  • Work closely with the laboratory team to develop and test new products, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Mentor junior lab team members to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

Requirements

  • BS degree with 7 years of experience, or MS with 5 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Polymer Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in formulation and chemistry, specifically with UV-curable and/or water-based inks, coatings, and adhesives.
  • Strong understanding of chemical regulatory requirements for the USA, Europe, and United Kingdom for printing inks.
  • Knowledge of the Graphic Arts Printing Industry, including flexographic, gravure, screen, and offset printing applications.
